Since April 2001, we, National Institution of Information Technology and Evaluation (NITE), have been promoting Security Evaluation/Certification Program (IT Security Evaluation and Certification Program) for the IT related products with regard to maintaining Information Security based on secured evaluation criteria which had been internationally standardized as ISO/IEC 15408.

Upon establishment of a newly organization, Information-Technology Promotion Agency, Japan (IPA); it is informed that the Security Certification Program (Certification Program) of the entire scheme will then be transferred from NITE to the said organization, IPA, effectuate on April 1, 2004. Up to current, we have been publishing information with regard to the Certification Program for both in English and Japanese to provide latest/extensive information as the information channel in associate with the Program for the IT Security; hence, please be noted that the JISEC Home Page will be closed on March 31, 2004. We are very much appreciated to all of you to use of our home page for such a long period of time.

For further publication for the latest information with regard to the Certification Program of IT Security will be made by IPA on or after April 1, 2004.

We, NITE, will continually assess and accredit to those evaluation facilities where implementing Secured Evaluation Program for the products under the Scheme.
