Based on the human health effects ((EU-RAR No.7 (2001)) "erythema and severe edema associated with the formation of blisters. The results of biopsies (48 hours after the application of a 10% solution) indicate blisters, necrosis, inflammation, cellular infiltration and edema in the papillary layer in all cases," and the results of rabbit skin irritation tests, the substance is considered "corrosive" (CERI-NITE Hazard Assessment No.66 (2005), EU-RAR No.7 (2001), CICAD No.43 (2002)), although the substance should be placed in Category 1A from the viewpoint of safety.
