1 | Explosives | Not applicable | - | - | - | There are no chemical groups associated with explosive properties present in the molecule. |
2 | Flammable gases (including chemically unstable gases) | Not applicable | - | - | - | "Liquids" according to GHS definition. |
3 | Aerosols | Not applicable | - | - | - | Not an aerosol product. |
4 | Oxidizing gases | Not applicable | - | - | - | "Liquids" according to GHS definition. |

A flash point of 54 degrees C [closed cup] ((MSDS Sigma-Aldrich) (2011)) is >= 23 degrees C and <= 60 degrees C, therefore it corresponds to Category 3.
7 | Flammable solids | Not applicable | - | - | - | "Liquids" according to GHS definition. |
8 | Self-reactive substances and mixtures | Not applicable | - | - | - | Containing neither chemical groups related to explosibility nor those related to self-reactivity. |
9 | Pyrophoric liquids | Classification not possible | - | - | - | No data. |
10 | Pyrophoric solids | Not applicable | - | - | - | "Liquids" according to GHS definition. |
11 | Self-heating substances and mixtures | Classification not possible | - | - | - | No data. |
12 | Substances and mixtures which, in contact with water, emit flammable gases | Not applicable | - | - | - | Not containing metals or semimetals (B, Si, P, Ge, As, Se, Sn, Sb, Te, Bi, Po, At). |
13 | Oxidizing liquids | Not applicable | - | - | - | An organic compound that does not contain oxygen, fluorine, or chlorine. |

1 | Acute toxicity (Oral) | Category 4 |
H302 |
P301+P312 P264 P270 P330 P501 |
On the basis of an LD50 value of 810 mg/kg for rats (JECFA 1032 (2002)), it was classified in Category 4.
1 | Acute toxicity (Dermal) | Classification not possible | - | - | - | No data. |
1 | Acute toxicity (Inhalation: Gases) | Classification not possible | - | - | - | No data. |
1 | Acute toxicity (Inhalation: Vapours) | Classification not possible | - | - | - | No data. |
1 | Acute toxicity (Inhalation: Dusts and mists) | Classification not possible | - | - | - | No data. |
2 | Skin corrosion/irritation | Classification not possible | - | - | - | No data. |
3 | Serious eye damage/eye irritation | Classification not possible | - | - | - | No data. |
4 | Respiratory sensitization | Classification not possible | - | - | - | No data. |
4 | Skin sensitization | Classification not possible | - | - | - | No data. |
5 | Germ cell mutagenicity | Classification not possible | - | - | - |
The classification is not possible due to no in vivo test data. Besides, a negative in an Ames test (JECFA No. 1032 (2002)) and a negative in a chromosome aberration test (Evaluation of effect for the food safety (2005)) as in vitro tests were reported. |
6 | Carcinogenicity | Classification not possible | - | - | - | No data. |
7 | Reproductive toxicity | Classification not possible | - | - | - | No data. |
8 | Specific target organ toxicity - Single exposure | Classification not possible | - | - | - | No data. |
9 | Specific target organ toxicity - Repeated exposure | Classification not possible | - | - | - |
A 90-day diet administration test given only one dose (corresponding to 18 mg/kg bw/day) to rats reports that slight to moderate decreases in body-weight gain in females (not statistically significant) were observed but no other differences were found between test and control groups, and NOELs were 17 mg/kg/day in males and 18 mg/kg/day in females (JECFA 1032 (2002)). But this dose is in a range of Guidance values, and effects at a high dose are unknown due to no data, therefore it was classified as "Classification not possible" due to lack of data. |
10 | Aspiration hazard | Classification not possible | - | - | - | No data. |
