The available data for classification were those of only one test in which rats were repeatedly exposed by inhalation. By inhalation exposure (7 hours/day) of rats to this substance (500 ppm) 35 times (7 weeks at 5 days/week) for 53 days, centrilobular cloudy swelling of hepatocytes and vacuolization of renal tubular epithelium cells were observed (ACGIH (7th, 2001), PATTY (6th, 2012)). It was considered to be exposure by the vapour at a concentration of 500 ppm, and it was estimated that effects were observed at a concentration corresponding to Category 2 (0.44 mg/L/6 hours) based on converted guidance value (conversion factor: 1 ppm=2.70 mg/m3 (ACGIH (7th, 2001)) and correction with exposure days and hours (5/7)*(35/90)*(7/6)). From the above, it was classified in Category 2 (liver, kidney).
