 Besides, it is described that this substance was administered orally (diet) to male rats for about 20 weeks and female rats for 14 weeks. The treated males were then mated with the untreated females, and the treated females were mated with the untreated males in cross-over mating. The treated males, even in doses of toxicity expression (suppressed body weight gain during the mating period), impregnated females in all cases and no effects on fertility were observed. On the one hand, in the case of treated females, in doses of toxicity expression (suppressed body weight gain during the pregnancy period), no effects on fertility or teratogenicity were observed except for skeletal malformations in the fetuses (HSDB (Access on June 2016)).
