There is no information on reproductive effects in humans. As for experimental animals, there were the following descriptions; in an oral single dose test with pregnant rats or pregnant mice at 250-1000 mg/kg (rats: day 12 of gestation, mice: day 10 of gestation), increased incidence of malformations such as short tail (rats, mice), cleft palate, skeletal malformations (mice), and increased incidence of embryo absorption were observed (Catalog of Teratogenic Agents (12th ed. 2007)): as a result of transdermal application with pregnant rats and pregnant mice during organogenesis period, slight teratogenic effects were observed (HSDB (Access on August 2017)). Moreover, there is also a description that in a test with pregnant mice given single or repeated subcutaneous doses, malformations of the cranium and extremities were observed in the fetuses (HSDB (Access on August 2017)). From the above, there is no description of effects on maternal animals, however, based on the evidence that this substance is teratogenic in multiple routes, it was classified in Category 1B.
8 Specific target organ toxicity - Single exposure Classification not possible

9 Specific target organ toxicity - Repeated exposure Classification not possible

10 Aspiration hazard Classification not possible
