[Rationale for the Classification] Based on (1) and (2), it was classified in Category 1 in accordance with the GHS Classification Guidance for the Japanese Government. Besides, based on a new evaluation, the classification result was changed. [Evidence Data] (1) The result of an eye irritation test with rabbits showed that this substance was a severely irritant to the eyes (Risk Assessment Report (Pesticide) (Food Safety Commission of Japan, 2021)). (2) As a result of an eye irritation test with rabbits, it was classified in Category 1 (corrosiveness (irreversible damage to the tissues of the eyes), changes in the cornea, irritation persisting for 21 days or more) (EPA Pesticides (2004)). [Reference Data, etc.] (3) In the EU, it was classified in Eye Dam. 1 (EU CLP Classification Results (Accessed Jan. 2022)). |
