This substance is listed as sensitizing substance in Contact Dermatitis (Frosch) (4th, 2006).
Besides, a positive result in a skin sensitization test by murine LLNA in which the test chemicals demonstrated a greater than threefold increase in lymph node cells proliferation was reported (HSDB (2002)), on the other hand, several skin sensitization results in human exposure to this substance were reported ((Initial Risk Assessment, 18, NITE (2005)), (PATTY (5th, 2001), (HSDB (2002))).

There is information that human exposure to this substance during laboratory use caused mild and transient irritations to eye, nose, and throat (PATTY (5th, 2001)) and a transient mucous membrane irritation (HSDB (2002)).
From a report on a test using rabbits and mice in which accelerated respiration and respiratory distress occurred (HSDB (2002)), it was classified in Category 3 (respiratory tract irritation).
