Plasma and red blood cell cholinesterase inhibition was observed in humans, and blurred vision, lightheadedness, giddiness, breathlessness, weakness, excessive salivation, vomiting, frequent urination/defecation, cramps, unconsciousness, depth perception disorder, miosis, cyanosis and death were reported in accident cases of workers, etc. (ACGIH (7th, 2007), HSDB (Access on August 2014)). In experimental animals, red blood cell, plasma and brain cholinesterase inhibition was reported in oral or dermal administration to rats, and this effect was observed within the guidance value range for Category 1 (ACGIH (7th, 2007), HSDB (Access on August 2014)).
Besides, PATTY adopted in the previous classification was not adopted because the description was not found.

In a clinical study evaluating the use of this substance as a treatment for myasthenia gravis, in which this substance was administered orally or parenterally to 18 normal human subjects, a rapid depression of plasma and red blood cell cholinesterase activity occurred through the parenteral route, and a similar effect in oral administration was observed at approximately 4 times the dose in parenteral administration (ACGIH (7th, 2007)). From the above, it is clear that this substance also exhibits cholinesterase inhibition like other organophosphorus substances, and although there is no direct evidence from repeated exposure in humans to this substance, nervous system toxicities were considered to be related to cholinesterase inhibition even after a single exposure, so it can be predicted that nervous system toxicities will develop after repeated exposure in humans.
