From an LD50 value of 250mg/kg for rats (RTECS (2003): original literature; World Review of Pest Control. (London, UK) 9, 119, 1970) , classification 'T; R24' in EU classification (EC-JRC (ESIS) (Access on June 2011)), it was classified in Category 3. Besides, details of a reported LD50 value of 34 mg/kg for rabbits (RTECS (2003)) from List 3 information are unknown. |

H371 | P308+P311 P260 P264 P270 P405 P501 |
There is the information that a main acute poisoning symptom by thiocyanate pesticides is convulsions (HSDB (2002)), and there is the information that a principal systemic reaction by an exposure to aliphatic thiocyanates is probably central nervous depression interrupted by restlessness, hyperpnea, and tonic convulsions (HSDB (2002)). In animal tests, rats showed coma, cyanosis, dyspnea, and tonic convulsions by oral administration at 90 mg/kg of this substance (DHP (13th, 2002)), and symptoms of tremors, paralysis, spasticity, and opisthotonos in rabbits in various administration routes are reported (HSDB (2002)). From the above knowledge, all of which are from evaluation documents in List 2, it was classified in Category 2 (central nervous system). |

- |
H401 | P273 P501 |
From 96-hour LC50 = 3.2 mg/L for fish (Oncorhynchus clarkii) (AQUIRE, 2012), it was classified in Category 2. | FY2011 | GHS Classification Guidance by the Japanese Government (July, 2010) |
