(1) In a 2-generation reproductive toxicity test with rats, reduced body weight gain was observed in parental animals of both generations, however, no reproductive toxicity was seen (ACGIH (7th, 2018)).
(2) In a developmental toxicity test by oral administration of this substance to female rats from gestation Days 6 through 15, wavy and thickened ribs of fetuses were observed at the dose of maternal toxicity (urogenital staining) (ACGIH (7th, 2018)). Besides, effects on fetuses were thought to be skeletal variations. Effects on maternal animals were observed at or above 600 mg/kg/day, on the other hand, effects on fetuses were observed at 1,240 mg/kg/day, therefore, these results were determined as not evidence of classification.
(3) In a developmental toxicity test by oral administration of this substance to female rabbits from gestation Days 6 through 19, no effects on maternal animals or fetuses were observed (ACGIH (7th, 2018)).
