Because data (1) used in the previous classification were those on the other substance, they were not used for classification this time.

(1) It is reported that in a skin irritation test with rabbits (OECD TG404, GLP-compliant), after 4-hour semi-occlusive application with undiluted substance related to this substance (isotridecyl methacrylate), mean erythema scores after 24, 48, and 72 hours were 0, 0.33, and 0.66, mean edema scores were 1, 1.33, and 1.66, and subsided within 72 hours (ECHA RAC (2017), REACH registration dossier (Accessed Dec. 2018)).
(2) Other than the above, there were three skin irritation tests with rabbits on substances related to this substance, and it is reported that mild irritation with average scores not more than 2 was shown (ECHA RAC (2017)).

(1) It is reported that in an eye irritation test with rabbits (OECD TG405, GLP-compliant), after applying undiluted substance related to this substance (Isotridecyl methacrylate), slight irritation was found one hour after application but resolved within 24 hours, and average scores for corneal opacity, iris, conjunctival redness, and chemosis were all 0 after 24, 48, and 72 hours (ECHA RAC (2017), REACH registration dossier (Accessed Dec. 2018)).
(2) It is reported that in an eye irritation test with rabbits (FAD Draize test, n = 6), after applying a mixture of this substance and related substances (undiluted, 65% dodecyl methacrylate, 25% tetradecyl methacrylate, 10% higher alkyl methacrylates up to octadecyl methacrylate), average scores for corneal opacity, iris, conjunctival redness, and chemosis were all 0 after 24, 48, and 72 hours (ECHA RAC (2017), REACH registration dossier (Accessed Dec. 2018)).
(3) Other than the above, there are two eye irritation tests with rabbits on a substance related to this substance, and it is reported that mean eye irritation scores were 0 (ECHA RAC (2017)).
