5 Germ cell mutagenicity Classification not possible
-
-
- - Classification not possible due to lack of data.
There is no in vivo data.
As for in vitro, the result was negative in a mammalian cell chromosome aberration test (JECDB (Access on May 2016)).

6 Carcinogenicity Classification not possible
-
-
- - Classification not possible due to lack of data. FY2016 GHS Classification Guidance for the Japanese Government (FY2013 revised edition (Ver. 1.1))
7 Reproductive toxicity Classification not possible
-
-
- - In two combined repeated dose toxicity studies with the reproduction/developmental toxicity screening tests (OECD TG 422) in rats (gavage administration: up to 12.5 mg/kg/day in one test and up to 100 mg/kg/day in the other one), neither fertility of the parent animals nor effects on pups were observed (Safety Test (Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI, 2006), JECDB (Access on May 2016)). However, it is impossible to classify it as "Not classified" with only these results since these tests are screening tests. In addition, there is no other available data for classification. Therefore, the classification is not possible due to lack of data. FY2016 GHS Classification Guidance for the Japanese Government (FY2013 revised edition (Ver. 1.1))
8 Specific target organ toxicity - Single exposure Classification not possible

9 Specific target organ toxicity - Repeated exposure Category 1 (liver), Category 2 (blood system)

There is no information on humans.
As for experimental animals, in a combined repeated dose toxicity study with the reproduction/developmental toxicity screening test using rats administered by gavage, the effects on liver (an increase in Alkaline phosphatase and relative liver weights and centrilobular hypertrophy of hepatocytes) were observed at a dose of 20 mg/kg/day (converted guidance value: 9.3 mg/kg/day) which is within the range of Category 1, and effects on the haemal system (a decrease in red blood cell count, hemoglobin and hematocrit) were observed at doses of 100 mg/kg/day (converted guidance value: 46.7 mg/kg/day) which is within the range of Category 2 (JECDB (Access on May 2016)).
Therefore, this substance was classified in Category 1 (liver), Category 2 (haemal system).
