このmutant strainにdnrN or dnrI を導入すると生合成可能。
dnrI 発現はDnrNが必要なことがわかっているので、dnrN発現にDnrOが必要ということが示される。

DnrOをE.coliで過剰発現し、抽出液でmobility shift DNA-binding assays。
DnrOはoverlapping dnrN/dnrO(p1) promoter regionへ特異的に結合した。
