putative transcriptional regulators asm2, asm29, and asm34と、putative regulatory protein asm39をsingle-site integrative vector pAP40 と multicopy replicative vector pREPにクローニング。
これをA. pretiosumへ戻して恒常的過剰産生させ、ansamitocin産生量への影響を見ている。

H. avellaneaへの感受性に基づいたansamitocin bioassayでの抑制指数は、replicative vectorでのasm29過剰発現で1.1倍の控えめな増加を示した。integrative vectorでは有意差なし。

自発的な高産生株A. pretiosum mutantではasm29がupregulateされていることがマイクロアレイ解析で示されている(unpublished data)。
