Singapore Business Federation Visited NLAB
On Tuesday, 22 April 2025, a delegation of 18 members led by Ms. Priscilla SOONG of the Singapore Business Federation (SBF)※1, the chamber of commerce and industry of Singapore, visited the NLAB※2 at the NITE Osaka Office.
Consisting of 15 SBF member companies interested in green-innovation and sustainable technology, the delegation was briefed on NITE's overview and activities related to the safety testing and evaluation of large-scale battery energy storage systems. The delegation also toured the NLAB※2 facilities.
The tour included a demonstration of "circulation by microorganisms" and an explanation of NITE's role in overseeing the production of the Japan Pavilion exhibition content for the Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai which opened on April 13, 2025.
During the tour, there were several rounds of questions and answers reflecting the participants’high level of interest. We hope this visit contributes to the development of energy storage systems in both countries.
