doxAが不活化されると、RHO→13-deoxy-DNRまでしか進まない。
つまりその後の13-deoxy-DNR→13-dihydro-DNRをDoxAが担う。

dnrVが不活化されると、RHO→13-deoxy-DNRまでは進む。
そのあと、→13-dihydro-DNR→ Daunorubicin (DNR)は少しだけ進み、→ Doxorubicin (DXR)は産生されない。
このようにDnrVの動態はDoxAに似てるが少し異なる。

CYP450_DoxAが機能するためにはdoxAとdnrVが一緒に発現される必要があるようで、dnrV mutantではDoxA proteinがWBで検出されない。

しかしDnrVの正確な機能を説明することができない。
NADPH:ferredoxin oxidoreductasesと似ていないので、electron transport proteinではないみたい。
