ORF22-25の各不活化mutantsは、dihydrogranaticin B産生ができなくなり、granaticinを蓄積する。
dihydrogranaticin Bはgranaticin Bの前駆体。
granaticin BはgranaticinにL-rhodinoseが追加された構造。
よって、ORF22-25はどれもL-rhodinose形成・付着に関連。
pathwayでの割り当ては配列相同性から。

でも、ORF24はDBで意味ある類似性が見られないので機能不明。
可能性として挙げられているのが、
ORF23によって触媒される3-deoxygenation反応の完成に必要なreductase機能。
または全体的な生合成経路の(dihydro)granaticin B分岐を特異的にコントロールするregulatory機能。
