ORF2-ORF4領域を含んだplasmidの染色体DNAへの組み込みは、jadomycin B産生を激しく抑制したが、成長や胞子色素沈着には影響なし。

JadD, DpsFの両cyclasesはC-9で還元された10-ketidesの位置特異的なfirst-ring cyclase/dehydrasesであることが示された。
