module10(KS, ACP, KS, DH, ER, KR, ACP) ※論文中module11と記載  

module10は、oxazolomycinのC3-C4選択性が生じるためのunusual methoxymalonyl-ACP extender unitを取り込むのに関与していると考察している。

2つあるKS domainの触媒三残基は、1st KS domainがCys-His-Hisを保存していたが2nd KS domainはCys-Thr-Hisを保存していた。
これはmalonyl-ACP (or methyl/ethyl-malonyl-ACP) decarboxylationにとって重大な意味を持つHistidine残基の変異により不活性化している可能性が示唆された。

さらに、同定された2つのACPsは、両方ともconserved signature motif (GX(H/D)S) を持っており、これはSerine残基への4'-phosphopantetheine groupの翻訳後の付着を要求していると推測された。ただし、InterPro hitでは ACP domainが3箇所ヒットするが論文中は2箇所だと示しており、これに関するコメントはない。first ACP domainのみconserved signature motifがGxRPとなっており保存されていない。
