three ORFs on the opposite strand were named ORF2 (SgtR1), ORF3 (SgtR2), and ORF4 (GenBankAccession No. AAS92596).

sgtR2 は、(ArsR)-type helix-helix (HTH) domainを持つputative transcriptional regulatorと推測。クローニングし、トリプシン活性や転写解析を調べている。S. lividansにおけるsprTの発現データと、total RNA解析はSgtR1 or SgtR2がsprTの過剰発現を引き起こすtranscriptional regulatorであると推測された。sgtR1 and sgtR2 genesはAdpAに依存しない事から、AdpA regulonのメンバーではないと推定している。
