V.cholerae_viuA(ferric vibriobactin receptor gene)の下流に位置するviuBのクローニングとシークエンス解析。
In vitro transcription-translationにより、タンパク発現を確認。
viuB deletion mutantを作製し、Arnow assayなどによりシデロフォア合成の様子を確認。相補試験も行っている。
-->mutantでは正常なシデロフォアを形成するが、外因性のferric vibriobactin資化性が欠失。
・V.choleae viuB in E.coli fes mutant --> 相補可
・E.coli fes in V.choleae viuB mutant --> 相補不可
鉄イオン高/低濃度条件下でのNorthern解析により、viuBは鉄による負の制御を受ける。<--転写レベル
