Procedures to deposit

1.
The depositor prepares “Material Transfer Agreements for Deposit of Biological Material” and “Accession Form for Deposit”, and contact to “nbrc@nite.go.jp”.

Accession Form for Deposit of Biological Material (DNA) [Word:59KB]
2.
The depositor sends the strain(s) after we inform the depositors of an acceptance of the depository. Because we have to obtain the permissions in prior to import certain materials, we ask the depositors not to send the biological resources to the NBRC without our agreement.
3.
After we preserve the deposited resources, we will send the “Certification of Depository “ to the depositors. According to conditions that you choose in “4. Conditions stipulated in the article 2.4 of MTA-deposit for utilization of the strain (or clone/DNA) ” of “Accession Form for Deposit”, we show them in the certification (see the table below).
It is required that the taxonomic type strains are available without restriction. Accordingly, we recommend that the depositors do not attach the conditions of use to the type strains.
