Calibration and Measurement Capability (CMC), which is defined by BIPM, is the smallest uncertainty of measurement that an accredited laboratory can achieve within its scope of accreditation when performing routine calibrations of a measurement standard or measuring equipment.
CMC is expressed as an expanded uncertainty having a level of confidence of approximately 95 %.
