Solution A*   Bacto Yeast Extract (Difco) 10 g   Hipolypepton** 5 g   Sodium acetate 2 g   Tween 80 solution*** 10 ml   Salts solution**** 5 ml   Ager (if needed) 15 g   Distilled water 900 ml   pH 6.8   Solution B*   Xylose 10 g   Distilled water 100 ml                   *Solutions A and B are autoclaved separately. After the solutions are cooled down at 50-60 °C, mixed each other.                   **Wako Pure Chemical Ind., Ltd., Osaka, Japan.                   ***Tween 80 solution       Tween 80 50 mg       Distilled Water 1 ml                   ****Salts solution       MgSO4·7H2O 40 mg       MnSO4·4H2O 2 mg       FeSO4·7H2O 2 mg       NaCl 2 mg       Distilled Water 1 ml     Add a drop of 12 N HCl to 500 ml of the salts solution.
