  Mix ingredients except for vitamin and Fe(III) slurry solutions, and autoclave under a N2/CO2 atmosphere (80/20). Separately autoclave Fe(III) slurry solution under a N2 atmosphere. Sterilize vitamin solution by filtration. Prior to inoculation, add vitamin and Fe(III) slurry solutions. Final pH is 6.5-7.0.

  ***Fe(III) slurry solution
  Neutralize 0.4 M FeCl3·6H2O solution with NaOH, wash with pure water several times, and autoclave under a N2 atmosphere.
