Composition
Casein peptone, tryptic digest 10 g   Yeast extract 5 g   Meat extract 5 g   Bacto Soytone 5 g   Glucose 10 g   K2HPO4 2 g   MgSO4·7H2O 0.2 g   MnSO4·H2O 0.05 g   Tween 80 1 ml   NaCl 5 g   Inulin 1 g   Cysteine-HCl·H2O 0.5 g   Salt solution* 40 ml   Vitamin solution** 10 ml   Resazurin 1 mg   Distilled water 950 ml   pH 6.8         Mix ingredients except vitamin solution and cysteine-HCl. Flush with N2/CO2, and adjust pH to 6.8 using 8 N NaOH. Dispense the medium into suitable culture vessels under a stream of N2/CO2 (80/20) and seal with butyl rubber stoppers. Separately autoclave cysteine-HCl under a N2 atmosphere. Sterilize vitamin solution by filtration.
