3-aminoTFが提唱されているが、実験的にもうひとつはっきりしない。
amino基のないsugarの付いたnystatinは、NysDI_glycosylTFの基質特異性が厳しいため発生しないらしく、nysDII不活化、相補など実験しても結果が機能を特定するに至らない。

sugar moietyを持たないものが主なのはmycosamine glycosyltransferaseの基質特異性が厳しいため。
