sulfonylurea herbicideが誘発されたStreptomyces griseolusの可溶性タンパク質分画からFd-1 と Fd-2の二種類のフェレドキシンを精製し、どちらも、aerobic mixture of NADPH、spinach ferredoxin:NADP oxidoreductase、精製したcytochrome P-450SU1とherbicide基質にsulfonylurea monooxygenase活性を復元できることが示されている。また、cytochromes P-450, P-450SU1 (CYP105A1) と P-450SU2 (CYP105B1)は、それぞれFd-1 と Fd-2の近傍に位置していることが示されている。
