Edwardsiella tarda virulent protein (EVP) gene clusterの報告。
type VI secretion system (T6SS)と2つの追加分泌タンパク (EvpI, a homologue of VgrG, and EvpP) が見つかり、entire EVP clusterとなった。

16 EVP genesの変異誘発から、EvpPの分泌がEvpC (a homologue of Hcp) and EvpIを含む13 EVP proteinsに依存的で、EvpD and EvpJには依存しないことがわかった。

分泌タンパクはEvpC, EvpI and EvpPの3つで、EvpC and EvpI の分泌は相互に依存し、それらはEvpPの分泌のために必要である。
