AviC1とAviC2の機能解析

methyltransferase gene aviG4欠損株GW4でそれぞれ作製したaviC1, aviC2不活性化株は、両株ともgavibamycin A誘導体あるいはその中間体を生産しなかった。

RT-PCRによる転写解析結果から、aviC1, aviC2は構造遺伝子の発現を制御する事によりavilamycinの生産をpositiveに制御すると考察。aviC1がaviC2の発現を制御しており、aviC2は自己調節因子として機能するかもしれないと考察している。

AviC1, AviC2は既知のSARPやLAL familyの制御因子とは異なるとも言っている。
