よって、CosTは対応するglycosyltransferaseによるcosmomycin aglyconeへのL-rhodosamine移動に必須である、と提唱。

AknS単独でも活性はあるが、AknTがないと活性は低い。

dTDP-L-rhodosamineがAknS/AknTの自然な基質であることを確認。
これまでに代替基質として使用されていたdTDP-2-deoxyfucoseより100倍、dTDP-daunosamineより1000倍速いKcat値を示す。

partner protein AknTは、L-rhodosamine移動のためのAknSの代謝回転速度を200倍に加速する。
AknTの存在はKm値に影響せず、kcatに影響する。AknS:AknTの最適比率は1:3。

aglycone, L-rhodosamine, 2-deoxyfucose, AknS/T, AknKでの産物は2糖型aclacinomycinが主要産物でだったことから、3糖目は2-deoxyfucoseでなく、これまでの提唱通りL- rhodinoseでありそう。
