反対向きの遺伝子ペア TetR-family regulator (lanK) and efflux protein (lanJ)の特徴づけ。

lanJ過剰発現株は外因的に加えたlandomycin A and Dへの抵抗性が増す。
lanK過剰発現株はlandomycins Aへの抵抗性が低い。
よって提唱されている通りLanJはlandomycinsを排出して抵抗性をもたらすefflux proteinであり、
LanKはlanJを支配下に置くrepressorである。

lanJ過剰発現株はlandomycin A and B産生が減り、D(disaccharide)が1.5倍に増えた。
これは未熟な前駆体が排出されてしまうためだと説明されている。
