ncsF2の機能解析の報告。

epoxide hydrolaseと推測されるncsF1,ncsF2をE.coliにて発現・精製、過剰発現株作製。両酵素のracemic styrene oxideに対するEpoxide hydrolase活性を測定。NcsF1のracemic styrene oxideの加水分解産物のHPLCは、弱いピークを示した。活性触媒残基が一部保存されていない。NcsF1ではなくNcsF2がstyrene oxideの効率的な加水分解を行うと明記している。
