OzmB, OzmC, OzmD, OzmE, OzmF, OzmGが、methoxymalonyl-ACP生合成遺伝子であることを同定し、これらがoxazolomycin productionに必須であることを示した。
OzmGはHADH family enzymeに相同性を示すが、機能解析はされていない。
