OzmPは既知のタンパク質と若干の相同性を示すが機能は不明。

N末側がATP pyrophosphataseのsubfamilyや高く保存されたSGGKD motifを持つATP sulfurylase superfamilyにいくつか類似性を示す。

配列解析から、ozmO, ozmP, ozmQでオペロンを構成するかもしれないと言っているが、解析はしていない。
