生合成遺伝子の境界を決定するため、orf(-1), orf(-2), orf(-3)-orf(-5),orf(+1), orf(+2), orf(+3)-orf(+5)欠損株作製。
いずれもoxazolomycin 産生にいかなる影響も与えなかったことから、oxazolomycin生合成には関与しないと結論づけている。
