mdpC7: Aminotransferase

Eight genes (mdpC to mdpC8 excluding mdpC5)は、L-alpha-tyrosineからの(S)-3-(2-chloro-3-hydroxy-4-methoxyphenyl)-3-hydroxypropionic acid moietyの生合成に関与するとしている。

(S)-beta-tyrosyl-S-MdpC2中間体として(S)-beta-Tyrがactivation and tetheringされた後、PLP-dependent transaminase MdpC7によりbeta-amino基の切除が行われると予測している。MdpC7は、cofactor代謝に関与するaminotransferase BioA familyに相同性を示す。

機能解析はされていない。
