Quality of genomic DNAs
The microbial genomic DNA supplied by NBRC is checked by the following quality verification procedure.
■Quantity The quantity (over 1µg) is checked by spectrophotometry. |
■Suitability for enzyme reaction The suitability for enzyme reaction is checked by the PCR. |
■Sequencing of the 16S rDNA The full-region of 16S rDNA is sequenced. |
■DNA Length The average length (over 20kbp) is checked by pulse field gel electrophoresis (PFGE). |
Ordering Genomic DNAs
1. Distribution Policy
Distribution of the genomic DNA to domestic and foreign institutions will be subject to the regulations of Japanese Ministries. We shall ship our microbial genomic DNA to all countries except for those restricted by Japanese government.
2. Order Sheet (DNA Resource)
After downloading the Order Sheet (DNA Resource), please read the attached "Terms and conditions". If you don't agree with any of the items, we will be unable to accept your order.
Please note both the name(s) of DNA resource(s) and its (their) NBRC number(s) + G in your order, and sign or place a seal in the signature column.
3. Inquiry to NBRC
Please complete the order form and send it to the following address by postal mail, facsimile or e-mail. Order by telephone is currently not accepted. If your government agency requires a document for importing our genomic DNA resource(s), please send us a necessary form or forms together with the Order Sheet (DNA Resource). In response to your order, we will send a proforma invoice by e-mail and start to process your order.
