The Establishment of Cooperative frameworks with East Asia_Taiwan
NITE promotes bilateral cooperation with East Asia on strengthening the relationship in the chemical management field through information exchange and cooperatin.
Cooperative framework with the Safety and Health Technology Center (SAHTECH)
NITE concluded the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to promote cooperation with the Safety and Health Technology center (SAHTECH) on March 26, 2015.
The aim of the MOU is to conduct enhanced cooperation and information communications recognizing that it contributes to the sustainable growth and a high level of protection of human health and of the environment from risks derived from chemicals. The scope of the cooperation is the followings:
1) Sharing with each other the information of legislation, regulation and standardization in the field of chemical management, and providing information of the list through NITE's chemical risk information database "CHRIP (Chemical Risk Information Platform)" on the Internet,
2) Conducting information exchange with each other including concerned parties for better understandings on each respective laws and regulations, and so on.
The conclusion of MOU is performed as a part of developing collaborative relationship with Asian Region, in line with NITE’s promotion to contribute on facilitating Japanese companies' business activities for Asia. NITE will strive after the improvement of providing information on regulated chemical substances through CHRIP by deepening the cooperative relationship.
