  Dissolve mineral salts in water, dispense 20 ml amounts into 100 - 120 ml serum bottles under H2/CO2 (80/20) atmosphere, and autoclave. Before inoculation, add sterile air (final cocentration 3% v/v), and pressurize bottles to 150 kPa with H2/CO2.

  First dissolve nitrilotriacetic acid and adjust pH to 6.5 with KOH, then add minerals. Final pH 7.0 (with KOH).
