KH2PO4 0.136 g   NH4Cl 0.54 g   MgCl2·6H2O 0.2 g   CaCl2·2H2O 0.147 g   NaHCO3 2.5 g   Bacto Yeast Extract (Difco) 0.2 g   Sodium acetate 0.8 g   Coenzyme M 0.07 g   Vitamin solution* 10 ml   Trace element solution** 10 ml   Resazurin 1 mg   Cysteine-HCl 0.5 g   Na2S·9H2O 0.5 g   Distilled water 1 L       Mix ingredients except for vitamin solution, cysteine-HCl and Na2S·9H2O, and autoclave under a H2/CO2 atmosphere (80/20). Concentrated cysteine-HCl and sodium sulfide solutions are sterilized separately under a N2 atmosphere in tightly closed vessels. Prior to inoculation, add the filter-sterile vitamin solution, cysteine-HCl and Na2S·9H2O.
