nysG, nysHを不活化してもnystatinは細胞外へ運ばれるので、他にも代替的なtransporterがあるようだ。不活化すると10- deoxynystatinの産生量が増えるので、C-10 hydroxylation(NysL)の効率に関係がある。ATPase inhibitor sodium o-vanadateを使った実験で産生量が減少する。domainについても検討し、明らかにtype III ABC transportersに属するといっている。
