G-1-P → dTDP-L-mycaroseの変換に必要な7つの遺伝子(megDIV, BII, M, L, BVI, BIV, BIII)とmycarosyltransferase_megBV、C-6 hydroxylase_megFを含んだmycarose operon(pKOS452-53e)を構築し、E.coliで発現。LC/MS解析により、6-deoxyerythronolide Bから3-mycarosyl-erythronolide Bが得られることを確認。
