VinJ, K, L, M, N, Oの酵素的解析を行っている論文。

放出されたphyrophosphateを検出するPhotometric assayにより、ATP-dependent ligase VinM and VinNの基質特異性を確認。
VinMは、L-alanine, glycine, serineのような小さなAAを認識する。最も適しているのはL-alanine.

3-amino-2-methylpropionyl-VinLを、VinM, ATP, L-alanine(or glycine, serine)で反応させて、mixtureの産物をLC-ESI-MS解析。alanine(or 対応するAA)が付加された3-amino-2-methylpropionyl-VinLのシグナルが検出された。

VinN, L, O, Mと基質アミノ酸のone-pot reactionは、alanine-3-amino-2-methylpropionyl-VinLのみを産出した。
