このmutantへのdnmZ or dnmUVの導入はDaunorubicin (DNR)産生を回復せず。dnmZUVの導入で回復。

acyl-CoA dehydrogenaseとのidは低く、実験によっても否定されている。

S.peucetius mutant WMH1629(dnmZ::aphII, dnmU, dnmZ)はRHO蓄積。
pWHM1906(dnrI+dnmJVUZTQS)導入で相補されDNR/DXR産生回復。
pWHM1916(dnrI+dnmJVUZHTWQSのdnmZをin-frame deletionしたもの)導入でもDNR/DXR産生はwildと変わらず。
polar effectは、dnmZについては述べていない。

異種性ホストS.lividansにおけるL-daunosamineの生合成と付着のための最少の情報はdnmLMJVUTS genesによってコードされ、dnmZ and dnrHは必要ではない。dnmW and dnmQは絶対的に必須というわけではない。(ただ、S.lividansが代替酵素を持っているための結果なのかは、精製された酵素での実験をしてみないとわからない。)
