AknA: polyketide ketoreductase (KRI)

S.galilaeusの株違い3AR-33のKRIとほとんど同じ。
KRI はpolyketide鎖のC2でketo基→OH基へ還元する。
そのOH基は、AROによる最初の環のclosing and aromatisingのときに除去される。

間違った折りたたみをされたpolyketideを産生するS.galilaeus polyketide KR不全mutant H061は、plasmid pSgs15(aknLKE1AXBCDE2F)の導入でaclacinomycin産生を回復した。
