ORF2-ORF4領域を含んだplasmidの染色体DNAへの組み込みは、jadomycin B産生を激しく抑制したが、成長や胞子色素沈着には影響なし。

そのplasmid発現株での産物を解析。
JadD, DpsFの両cyclasesは、C-9で還元されたdecaketidesの位置特異的なfirst-ring cyclase/dehydrasesであることが示された。
