lsd3,9,10の推定機能が正しいとするならばcrotonyl-CoAを作るために必要なdehydrataseがcluster内で見つかっていない。lsd1がdihydroxy-acid dehydratase[Bodrdetella peruses Tohama I]と低いホモロジーを示すので、仮にlsd1はdehydrataseとしてassignしたと述べている。機能解析はされていない。

株違いS. lasaliensis ATCC31180(GenBank,Uniprotでは、NRRL3382Rと登録されている)には、相同配列はない。
