SlgC1,SlgC2の機能解析の報告。

slgC1,slgC2の不活性株はそれぞれstreptolydigin生産に影響有り。
slgC1,slgC2の過剰発現株はそれぞれstreptolydigin生産増加した。したがってSlgC1,SlgC2はstreptolydigin生合成に関与する。

この酵素はinsoluble beta-1,3-glucanを加水分解し、beta-1,3-glucanよりもbeta-1,3-1,4-glucanに対して最も高い活性を示したことから、BglFは一般的なbeta-1,3-glucanaseとしている。
また、mutant解析から、触媒残基はGlu123とGlu128であることを明らかにしている。
